Ya, how come a lot of people on SKMB say 'Ya', what, do you come from Minnesota or something? I remember reading where he made a sizeable donation to some library or something, up where he comes from.

I am from Oregon be glad I don't say yep! because in real life I say yep more than ya. He and his wife have the king foundation they do college scholarships. He is helping his local book store out a lot. They do a lot of stuff. I saw a youtube video where he went to a jr high or high school english class to talk to them because they sent him a bunch of letters or stories or something. I know he is very charitable.
So that is pretty cool. But I would say that helping out the local library was probably the least of his donations. He has helped out quite a few organizations and colleges.

Some people on here say Funny stuff like AyYu or whatever when they are talking about the different places they are from. They will spell out the accents that there countries are known for. Like Canada or Switzerland it can get confusing :dribble: but I have yet to see postings or people on here that I didn't like everyone on here has been cool so far.

So, I didn't know you've only been a member for two weeks? You most probably have more idea what your doing at this website in two weeks than I know after two years. I'm just an old fart.
Well even if I am considered a young fart I had one heck of a time figuring this SKMB out. I mean it took me like 1 hour to find the thread NEWBIES start here. It was all just crazy. I am used to facebook. This place is complicated. But once I got it down I was good. I do not know for sure if I have it down. But at least it is easier now. =D

One lady on here said she met him and he was nice. It was at a book signing and he asked her "Is this your first book?" something like that anyway.
Ha, Ash, that was I talking about seeing SK at an Under the Dome book signing in Atlanta, I think in '09. I asked him, "Is this your first book?" because I thought it would be a question that was funny and wouldn't be like the same ol' questions he constantly hears. He smiled and laughed and said, "Yeah, I'm just gettin started!"
So, yes, he was very nice. I was very starstruck. :star:

Don't be scared. Some guy when I first joined(who I think was really King himself) asked me what right I had joining this website, and said he thought I was an impostor, and wanted to know my particulars, my details. He said he was going to check up with the FBI, I found out three people so far that are actually Stephen King pretending to be someone else. I will not say who they are though.

Oh come on how can you be sure?? I thought about that when I first was on this website. I thought what if this person is asking these questions because they are really Stephen King wanting to know what his fans really think. But then I realized eeeeehh that is what he has got assistants and publicists and all that other junk for. I think Stephen King probably never gets on the SKMB anymore. He probably did in the past but I just don't see him checking this it out now not with all the other stuff he probably does. I mean how would he sort through the stuff. Just pick things at random???? I get on here a lot and can barely choose what to check into and end up trying to look at everything and spending way to much time on here in doing so. And do you think he has some profile from like back in the day or Do you think he makes a new one and pretends to be a new person every time he gets on. That is a weird yet fun thought. twilight zoney.

I think if SK really wants to see specific things, Ms. Mod would direct him where to look. And I also don't think he needs a user account like ours to do it. Just my opinion...:)

To bad... What if he made one so he could do what normal people do. He could get on here chat with people. See what the "Word" is and no one would know the difference. He could have conversations with people without them asking "how did you come up with this?" or "I LOVE YOU." At least if he had a profile he could communicate like a normal person instead of a famous person. If I ever become famous I will totally do that!!!!.

He did look in from time to time, (I'm not sure if he still does) but didn't sign in... and yes, Ms. Mod directs him to things specifically when needed.
