I see you have two copies of the Grant Gunslinger.....
I wish I could meet him, too. Stand By Me is one of the finest movies ever made! Those kids nailed their parts in that movie- they had way more depth to them than a lot of adult stars could ever achieve. The movie is really more poignant now what with River Phoenix gone...That is what I did (kind of) at Comicon in Seattle a few years back with Will Wheaton!!! I brought a DVD of Stand By Me and there was this line that wasn't too long and he was smiling and "going through the motions" with a lot of Star Trek Next Generation fans and then when he saw the DVD he lit up and was very excited to sign that.
Not that he was knocking the Trekers but Stand By Me will most likely be his finest acting/movie/role and he knew that I knew that. I surmise that he even knew that I knew that HE knew I knew and knowing that it made it that much sweeter. Ya know?
p.s. I do like him popping in and out of Big Bang Theory!

I know, right? He's going to fall madly in love with me (realizing that he's not 100% hetero) and we'll spend a romantic evening down at the Seattle waterfront, riding the big ferris wheel (my eyes will be closed on that because it's about 20 stories tall!), he can watch the boats come in and then when the ride is over......well, never mind.....
Then he won't ever know what he's missing....If he stops in and reads this thread, he may reconsider the book tour.
I won't speak for anyone, but it was a joke. There was no ulterior motive. He knew John's position and it was strictly a lark.
Then he won't ever know what he's missing....
I received my signed deluxe version of NOS4A2/Wraith today. It is a beautiful behemoth of a book.
I noticed something funny on the A Note About The Type page. There is a note that says, "This note doesn't reflect the Subterranean Press and IDW limited editions, but we include it here for reasons we hope will be obvious."
Those of us that have read the book understand.
To make his own way without his dad's name. (His name is Joseph, so he could have also gone with that to avoid the "joking" if he'd wanted to. )Did he change his name to avoid joking, or to seperate his career from his dads?
Cemetery Dance is making a slipcover for The Fireman (they also are selling signed copies). I love the slipcovers. They keep your book looking good.

Maybe it's time that the other Kings have a sub forum. Just one for all things Joe, Owen and Tabby. Just a thought. I always have a hard time finding the right thread for the other Kings since they are kind of scattered around and there are quite a few of them. It would be nice to have them all under one family forum.
