I forgot just how good The Talisman is ... probably the best Steve book outside TDT. Definately one of Pete's best as well.

I think you may be right there D.J. I was in Mac's today getting a takeaway coffee and they have a limit on seated customers, 40 or thereabouts, after that all orders are designated for takeaway. As things get worse I could see them limiting it to drive through only.
Just want to wish all a safe and good Tuesday in the middle of this crisis.
I have been off from work in two days now, ( I was working during the weekend) but go back to work tomorrow.
I have been reading a little too, but not any King book for a long time.

Back in work tomorrow, been off since last Friday, I think the plan on my job is we just keep going into work until someone gets sick then they shut the place down.
Steven Spielberg still owns the rights as far as I know.

Hi Marsha, any idea if it was earmarked for a tv or a theatrical release, Mr. Barker seems quite prolific in the tv side of things.
TDT film seemed to come out of nowhere, it was in development hell for ages then suddenly it's out. Maybe this will be the same, but I don't think so. It's not really a book which lends itself to an adaption, unless you were to change it of course, but then if you change it everyone complains.
I was at the hospital today. Have to make a minor surgery. But when is written in the stars. Was there today to talk with the headnurse, the doctor, and the Narcos doctor (the one who puts you to sleep before the operation) to check if i had questions, to tell how the plan was (Getting in evening before operation, sleeping there, operation in the morning and going home the day after) and so on. They said that normally the operation would be in 1-2 weeks time but now, in these times they just didn't know. But i probably has to wait until the curve goes downwards again.
Hope it won't be too long of a wait for you, keep us updated...
