Some interesting notes about his White Shadow co-stars.
Tim Van Patten, who played Salami, went on to become a director. He directed several of the best episodes of The Sopranos.
Thomas Carter, who played Hayward, also went on to direct. Most notably, the pilots for Miami Vice and St. Elsewhere. St. Elsewhere had a crossover character from The White Shadow. Coolidge, played by Byron Stewart.
