I've loved the Kiss orchestra since the 70's. Finally took the wife and saw them a year or 2 ago. It was everything I imagined it would be. One heckuva good rock show. I remember buying the comic back in the day and being impressed that the red ink contained their blood. I also remember seeing 'Kiss meets the Phantom' on TV. I'd like to see it again as I remember very little about it.
It was a godawful movie--lol. I liked it when I was a kid, though. I've only seen them once, about 28 years ago, and I loved it. I took my then 13 year old brother for his first concert :) (hard to believe we're 49 and 41 now)

Those guys never met a product they wouldn't endorse!
Gene Simmons is a prime huckster--lol. Beating the brand into the ground, but meh--they weren't ever going to be honored for their music anyway :) Keep in mind, I do like them for sentimentality's sake, and there are certainly worse musicians around, but I'm a realist :D

...ummmm, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-inducted 2014....and....

The band has sold more than 40 million albums in the United States, of which 25 million have been certified by the RIAA and their worldwide sales exceed 100 million records, making them one of the world’s best-selling bands of all time.

...yep, they'll never amount to anything...

That's great! Where did you see them?
Heck, I can't remember--lol! A venue here in UT...maybe the state fairpark? I was seeing a lot of concerts around that time and they've melded together. My favorite part of this one was when tiny girl in a pink sweater beat the CRAP out of a drunk guy who splattered her with sick. Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley came right to the edge of the stage and craned their necks to see what was going on :)

Back down, ole hoss--I didn't say they weren't influential in the business. They were and are.

Behind you
I saw the band in concert one time. Opened for Bob Seger of all people. I went for Seger.

Anyhows... My first job. Maid at a hotel. Ramada Inn. They went through a down time for sure. They played in the little lobby room.

The bus outside. Kiss logo all splashed out. I know I was in the bus for some reason. Must have met them. I don't really remember. I was working underage.

I remember feeling sad for them.
