Niiiice! Love Maine Coons, although they can be a tragic breed... You don't get such a big cat without messing up something else inside.

Yes, they can be a hoot - but not all of them are gentle giants. A friend of mine seems to be blessed with consistently ill-tempered Maine Coons. And beware that they can have heart problems that are not obvious on exam. Raw diet is good for any cat, but only if/when it's done right. Dr Lisa Pierson's site is a must read for anyone considering a raw diet. You can find it on catinfo dot org

This guy Jackson Galaxy is an excellent cat behaviorist. His show My Cat From Hell is really good. I learned how to get my "angry" cat Pearl back into a happy place. A small but wonderful miracle.
