How about a kettle of chocolate? Hmmmmm?Suffocation may have been the wrong word, my apologies... I was talking about deaths, in cribs (etc) so probably SIDS. And it has been documented that they (cats) can contribute to a raise in body temperature in the infant which is something best avoided.
Most healthcare workers working with parents and babies, teach them not to put anything at all in babies bed... co-sleeping is another kettle of fish that I won't get into here.
'Just wait till I adjust the focus on this video camera then I'm gonna kick both of you butts!'
Okay.
Sorry for breaking in with all the invisible (s), just trying to lighten the mood.
Sorry Flake. I didn't intend to come off as being mean to you or anything like it. Re-reading my post I can see how you may have gotten that impression, but please know I didn't mean to sound that way. I loves ya Flake. I wouldn't hurt you for the world, not for all the tea in China, and we all know how I feel about tea.Forgive me if I question why... but how come all the passive-aggressive posts toward me? All I was trying to say in my original post was that although the video was very cute I also found it a bit scary to see so many people letting cats get on top of sleeping babies. (& then when Pats mentioned that problems with cats and babies had been disproved, I gave further information)
Oh no!
I understood everything you were saying, and I agreed. Cats are scary to me. They are. Because they are cats.
I do not have one.
No, we're fine Pats... a misunderstanding, there was nothing hinky about the posts, it was just meant as an aside... I feel this way about people and dogs too--often dogs and cats get blamed for things that aren't their fault and it's usually when people are not being thoughtful with them... that's all I was meaning, I wasn't trying to be a d1ck.Sorry Flake. I posted the chocolate kettle as I sensed maybe something hinky was afoot, I mistakenly thought that the post might smooth any impression of ill feelings. I was wrong, and I'm sorry.

I do not have one. no.
If I had a child, there would be no cats or pillows near. Just me, for as long as it takes.
I meant no disrespect.
I say sorry.
I didn't think you were being a d1ck at all. I'm good if you are.No, we're fine Pats... a misunderstanding, there was nothing hinky about the posts, it was just meant as an aside... We're, good N.N... just a misunderstanding.
Sometimes I am one, whether I'm trying to or not...I didn't think you were being a d1ck at all. I'm good if you are.
That's one big puddy.
