My camera is not working well these days. I have asked Santa for a major upgrade, cause I want to take some pics of my baby boy, Buzz. The older he's getting, the more kittenish he's acting and I know is just a little more than a month, Santa Claus is coming to town, and boy will I get snap happy then!

By the way, hockey fans, the Leafs finally came through tonight for me - Go, Leafs!

My wife and I adopted a kitty from KSNAG (Keweenaw Spay and Neuter Assistance Group)...my wife calls her Lily and she brought her home yesterday. They had a booth set up at a craft fair that my wife attended...this was a week ago. She's tiny...only 15.8 ounces...but since I woke up and came downstairs she's visited her food dish about three times. She was sleeping on this small white...towel? blanket? in the living room next to a stuffed bear.

We had three dogs at one time, Springer spaniels...Buford, Betsy, & Bailey their puppy, tri-colored. I'd named them. My wife's name begins w/a "B"...Bonnie...so she said she gets to name this kitty...I got to spell it as she wasn't sure if it was one el or two. Either works, I guess...but I like a one el Lily. Should make for an interesting winter as I'm more likely to be out-of-work....like usual...since 200+" of snowfall is not conducive to construction...although it does provide time for other things. Haven't had a pet since the dogs left us...we'd adopted a cat, long-haired Himalayan went by the name of Chelsea...a good cat and then at some point the previous owner's boyfriend (who was allergic) went south so Chelsea went back.

Uncanny! My mum's dog (who incidentally is lying asleep by my feet right now along with my two) is named Baylee!

She...VampireLily suggested Abra as a name...ran that by my wife but she'd already settled on Lily. Lots of good cat names...I like Chairman Meow...a character in some other story...but wrong for a female kitty.
I know - Abra as in Abracadabra or the main character (female) from Doctor Sleep. But let's pretend she's named after Vampire Lily anyway - maybe she'll send catnip for Christmas! (special delivery) hmmm - would that get by the US postal inspectors? :hmm:
