Labor Day weekend

We are going to sit around/in the pool, grill some BBQ, and like MCLC said, work the liver! 
My first job out of high school. I was a pre-list enumerator for the Census Bureau, gearing up for the census the following year. Basically, I drove around with a map and plotted houses on the map and dropped off a note about the upcoming census. If the map was missing a road, I had to draw the road and plot that too. When I finished one map, I turned it in for a new one. I drove all over the county for several weeks of the summer. I was threatened with a shotgun at two places, trapped for about 30 minutes talking to a lonely old lady whose family never visited her (that was ok, I felt so bad for her) and most thrilling, got accidentally stuck in the middle of a convoy of scabs going to work in the coalmines during the big Pittston Coal strike. I got out of that as soon as possible, but that one I was truly afraid! But, it was for the US government, so the money was good! And I can still read a map better than anyone else I know!

...I put Tracy on a plane tomorrow for Kansas...she's flying out to see Seth for a couple of days, and then will ride home with him next week when he starts a 15 day leave...so I'll be batching it and working....my life is as glamorous as it gets babes!....
I have my fantasy football draft on Sunday. I have a feeling that beer will be involved. Also, hot dogs will be involved.
No plans here. Just normal stuff. Scott working Monday, triple time day. Whoohoo! (Now that I've said it out loud, they will change it to no working. 
)

Headin out of town...meet with some docs. Or A doc. Heh! Or not. Not heh. It's also our 19th wedding anniversary...been together 20, married 19 on the 7th. I am and I am not looking forward to it...not half as brave as my better half. She's something else she is. Bells...bells now. Must be noon. ooop....more bells...the clock in the other room is sounding off. I'd be working, otherwise, somewhat. All the forces have met and have decided I should be in ten places next week Thursday and that's never a good thing. But...October is coming and I'll find time to sit in a tree where it's nice and quiet and I can hear the bugs speak.
I am going to enjoy what is supposed to be a beautiful weekend(before it starts snowing). As of 5:30 today I am on vacation until Sept. 16th. Heading to Kentucky for a convention on Sept. 10th. Otherwise this weekend I will be....

Never heard of this and iam not to far from Kentucky.
I gave up on fantasy football a long time ago. I kept stacking my roster with NY Jets players. That strategy never seemed to quite work out.
