No - he was hanging around with a person who I consider to be a bad influence and they both should have known better (both Josh AND his girlfriend)

They were at the apartment of the young girl (well, her Mom's apartment). She is the one who shaved Josh's head bald and then charged him 20 bucks
They had not contacted her in about three weeks but then Pam got this bright idea to phone her.
This girl (Sam) is very manipulative and "opportunistic" - she is of regular intelligence but had a bad upbringing and lives in a group home (she was just visiting her Mom's apartment).
She turns 18 in December - I wonder what will happen then
She is bad news with a capital B and I don't trust her one bit.

Yes I guess you are right - but this Sam can make both Josh and Pam do whatever she asks them to do. I think she is dangerous.

Not thin king so. We had issued flood flash warning until 7 tonight. So we stayed close to home. Nashville had a few rescues but thank Gawd we live aways from there and not dealing with those issues. May work on some crafts and need to do some laundry. How about you?
Working evening shift Saturday, Sunday and Monday so staying close to home too.
....then he needs to be wary.....my son and daughter are just now working their way out of addictions and troubles with the law...I know your son is special needs, but if you need help to lay it out for him, I would be happy to assist......I used to work in a group home for kids and was a juvenile probation court intervention officer.....

Maybe once this girl turns 18 I can look into legal avenues i.e. restraining order or whatever it might take
...your version of Children's Services should be able to step in, or-since she's been in trouble, the juvenile legal system can intercede.....Thank you - they are both so easily led

WOW Neesy, I had no idea, I feel bad for trying to be funny, I'm Sorry. GNTLGNT is right, there should be multiple courses of action that can be taken. Have you talked with the manager of the group home, or maybe her social worker?
This is always such a worry for parents. All it takes is one bad friend to mess up good kids. Stay on top of the situation and just do your best. Damn ugly people!You are awful

Thanks Dana Jean - he spent the weekend with two nice girls (it is not as bad as that sounds!
) so hopefully he'll stay away from the 'bad apple'
