Yesterday was not a good day. Ended up in Urgent Care. No energy. Abdominable pain. One of my 'cuts' was (is) seeping and I was worried that it was infected (turns out it isn't). Worried about the paperwork not getting done in time for the insurance claim. Worried about no money coming in until my claim is approved (probably three weeks from now). Just an overall crap day. Don't mean to be a 'downer'. Today is better.

Thanks for the well-wishes everyone! Getting some lunch together now. Keeping myself occupied with absolutely nothing and it feels good. I think today I may start up reading a new novel- up till now I didn't want to do any reading because of not being able to concentrate and also because I know whatever I read is going to remind me of my surgery later on when ever I might happen to look at the book afterwards. Ya know what I mean? Bad mojo.....

Yar, there are all sorts of songs off-limits to me... and it sucks, because some of those songs, I really love.

I can't listen to Madonna's album Ray Of Light because of that and it DOES suck because that is her best music ever. Those songs on there cut way too close to the bone....it's like she was writing them to mirror exactly what was going on in my life right then.
