she feel down from the stairs ;-D

I also watched the movie this weekend. It was good. Not exactly what I expected, and I had to close my eyes a few times, but I liked it. And of course, Tom Hiddleston is in it, I love him!:0:
I had to close my eyes and gasp several times too! Tom was great--I loved his performance (and his dreamy face!).
I should have made myself more clear--I want to be the actress Mia, definitely not the character she was playing!
I love her in everything she's in.

Iron Sky (2012). The Nazis have set up a secret base on the dark side of the moon after leaving Earth in 1945, where they have been hiding out with plan to return to power in 2018. Two hours of my life I will never get back, and I’ll never watch another Finnish-Australian-German collaborated film again.

Hi Lina!
:howdy:
How is life in Russia? Is it getting cold yet? Here the mornings are below 0 already.

Crimson Peak - completely daft
By which I meant - two of many "for instances" - leaves constantly cascade through a gaping hole in the roof, yet there are almost no trees in the vicinity, and the few that are nearby have lost their leaves because it's winter. And he keeps tropical butterflies flying free in an unheated attic room. In winter. I have a lot of trouble getting past stuff like that. It's done Because Gothic. But they forgot to avoid Because Stupid.

Lucky Numbers (2000) - IMDb

I find the film to be cleverly written tongue-in-cheek comedy. I laughed a lot and laughing feels good.
The movie was filmed in my neck o' the woods and it was fun for me to see locations, scenery, people, places and names that I recognize.
The story line is loosely based upon a true event.

Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension - the mixture much as before, but a) we actually see some manifestations, and b) some interesting use of 3D effects.
Hotel Transylvania 2 - The mixture much as before. Quite good fun.
The Last Witch Hunter - Vin Diesel up to magical shenanigans. Unexceptional but enjoyable.

Watched the first half of 'Salem's Lot last night! Tonight will be the second half. I love this movie! I will never, ever get the sound of that kid scraping at the window out of my mind!!
Gan yes! I remember in the 70s watching this when I was a kid. Danny Glick (or was it Sammy?) floating there in the air - scratch, scratch. :shivers: Gave me nightmares for years. I couldn't wait to terrify our oldest with it when she was 10 or so.

I really need to buy this on DVD! Never saw the Rob Lowe version (not that I remember anyway!) - is that one worth buying?
I had no idea there was a Rob Lowe version of Salem's Lot? I'm off to google!

Unbroken
Biopic about an Olympic runner who becomes a WWII POW.
A little slow, but it has running in it, so hey.
Uplifting and inspirational parts; shows that torture does indeed hurt.
My son is reading this for school. I'm not telling him it's movie until he's finished - but he's actually enjoying it.

I watched This is Where I Leave You a couple of nights ago. I enjoyed it. I actually read the book a few years ago. I'd forgotten much of it. It's a crazy story, but a good read and decent movie.

I cannot wait for the next Mockingjay to come out. I haven't read any of the books, but I love the movies.

Well, I had no idea. I had a newborn and a toddler in 2004, so it's no wonder I missed this. How was it?

Hi Lina!

Below 0? Oh Neesy, how can you stand it? It's still 70ish most days. 80 some days. I'm looking forward to some autumn rain and crisp evenings, but we don't get down to 0 or below very often. It must be awful. How do you even manage to get out of bed?
