Watched Salem's Lot with the family last night. Always a creepy favorite, but my peeve is when Ben keeps using the word "proved" in place of "proven". It happens like 5 times. He's supposed to be a writer and should know better!
Just watched Stand By Me. I've seen it at least a dozen times, but never gets old.
Last night I watched Sixteen Candles (for the umpteenth time!) before I fell asleep. Good times. I think Jake was the original J. Crew guy. Too cute!

I also watched the movie this weekend. It was good. Not exactly what I expected, and I had to close my eyes a few times, but I liked it. And of course, Tom Hiddleston is in it, I love him!

I watched it when it first aired. It was alright. I don't own a copy of it so it's not something I absolutely HAVE to have, ya know?
By which I meant - two of many "for instances" - leaves constantly cascade through a gaping hole in the roof, yet there are almost no trees in the vicinity, and the few that are nearby have lost their leaves because it's winter. And he keeps tropical butterflies flying free in an unheated attic room. In winter. I have a lot of trouble getting past stuff like that. It's done Because Gothic. But they forgot to avoid Because Stupid.

Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension - the mixture much as before, but a) we actually see some manifestations, and b) some interesting use of 3D effects.

Gan yes! I remember in the 70s watching this when I was a kid. Danny Glick (or was it Sammy?) floating there in the air - scratch, scratch. :shivers: Gave me nightmares for years. I couldn't wait to terrify our oldest with it when she was 10 or so.

I watched This is Where I Leave You a couple of nights ago. I enjoyed it. I actually read the book a few years ago. I'd forgotten much of it. It's a crazy story, but a good read and decent movie.
I cannot wait for the next Mockingjay to come out. I haven't read any of the books, but I love the movies.
