How does Flake catch the eels?
You'd have to ask her. I get squirmy just thinking about it. I was emotionally scarred as a child from all the eels I would catch when fishing. I'm surprised I have vocal chords left from all the screaming I would do when I'd lift the line out of the water and there would be an eel slithering on the end. *shudder*

This means that Dreamcatcher is probably not your favorite sK book, I assume.

I'm with you here. I caught a good size one in the Connecticut River one night after dark and the damn thing coiled itself right up and around my arm. I think they heard me over in Vermont.

Henry I died from eating too many lampreys, no word on whether they were normal lampreys or high-powered lampreys. Lest you think I'm a super-genius, I learned that from doing crossword puzzles.

As to the original topic, a friend was in a car accident while talking to me on her cell phone. It was a minor fender-bender, and no one was hurt. Also, it was not her fault, the other car ran a stop sign. But it was still unnerving. This is basically how it went, "I told Susie that I would pick up Tommy if she could get Joey when she got the twins after band, so I'm on my way to the soccer field for the third time today---what? Wait! No no no no no, YOU stop! Oh MAN! I have to call you back..."

The original topic of this discussion reminded me of something very upsetting I saw the other day. I saw the driver of an emergency vehicle (ambulance) texting, the car was stoped at a stop light and obviously not active in an emergency situation at the time;but it was still very upsetting to see.
