Hi,
First time here--was thrilled to find y'all. I'm at the halfway point in "11-22-63" and have a question to ask, if my question has been asked/answered, I ask pardon...

I am lost as to the connection between Sadie Clayton Dunhill to Doris Dunning...
I don't mind the answer being a spoiler as I already know most of the story.
Can anybody help me on this?

Thanks.
Mer

I couldn't remember so had a little scout online and found that this seems to be a popular explanation:

The link between Sadie and Doris Dunning is estranged and unhinged husbands. The harmonics that are often referred to in the book are replays of similar scenes and situations. Therefore, Jake is worried that the similarity between the names of the two women means that Sadie is fated to be at risk from Johnny Clayton.
