writing is not my forte, so i hope this makes sense lol
I found this site while looking for new works from the King, but i didn't even consider joining til now. I'm not you average worshiper of celebrities and such, as most people seem to be. though i will admit that if Angelina Jolie and Stephen king just happened to be in the same room with me, i would be more interested in the author, than the actress. The reason for me joining is because any time i see anything having to do with Stephen Kings works i am always interested, and my 12 year old son has noticed this. Though my son is more interested in his movies than his written work. which i hope to change this summer
. And it is for my son that i am here. My son has had vision issues his whole life (he is all but totally blind without his glasses), and it hasn't really bothered him to have to wear glasses all of the time until recently. I am trying to make him realize that even people with vision issues can be very successful. And it just so happens that Stephen King wears glasses, though I'm not sure how bad his eyes really are. so here is my question for all of you.... does anyone know where i can get an autographed picture of the author for my son? And how much it would cost to get one? Any help would be greatly appreciated .
Oh, and for me, any book recommendations would be awesome. we recently moved to Alaska and it gets rather boring here during the winter months..... I must have read every book of Stephen Kings that i could get a hold of at least 5 times, and I've never found another author that isn't too repetitive, and holds my interest like his does. but i will admit, i haven't really looked until this past year lol.
