Movies - Have you seen....?

There are a few movies (many older) that I have just not gotten around to seeing but really want to see. If you have seen any of the movies below, let me know what you think/thought of them:

I've seen Darko and The Machinist of those four. Darko I love, it's unlike any movie I've seen before. Real thought provoking dark scifi/horror. The Machinist is also very dark, and shows Christian Bale's acting range. It's kind of a disturbing story, made more disturbing by the fact that Bale looks like a holocaust survivor.

I agree wholeheartedly with blunthead on the first two. I've also seen The Italian Job. Eh. Cars chases & capers movies don't do much for me.

Very strange, intense movie. Graphic sex between Natalie Portnam and Mila Kunis, if that bothers you. It was interesting, as all of the Aronofsky movies I've seen are, but harsh. Not one you forget about easily.

Agreed with skimom2 very strange. Harsh is a good word for it.

I recently rewatched EdTV - because I love Woody and Matthew together. I wish they'd do something else. True Detectives was such a treat.

Recently, I've seen Mockingjay - I'm really enjoying the movies, but I haven't read the books. Again with Woody Harrelson thing.

Also, saw The DUFF. Just one of those kind of movies. This generations Breakfast Club/Sixteen Candles type of movie - but no where near as good.

(Maybe OP will allow me to contort the concept the thread has used so far enough for me to ask what movies that I've seen have [herein find the perfect example whence the colloquialism "y'all", instead of "you", emerges not only handy, but required] seen? I mean perhaps other than the biggies, such as Titanic and The Graduate). Has anyone seen Guilia and Guilia (aka, Julia and Julia), starring Kathleen Turner, Gabriel Byrne, and Sting?

I'm not seeing a downside to this movie so far Skimom...just kidding, I've seen Black Swan, very weird flick. Natalie Portman portrays the character very well.

I've been wanting to see Black Swan ever since it came out.....

I am not sure my husband is going to want to see it or even like it....but will try to talk him into it.....

LOL! Agreed. It was a good movie. Some people might be put off by that scene, though (I know my daughter just about died--she didn't know it was there and she was watching with me and The Man--lol. "Some things just can't be watched with your dad in the room," was her statement later )
