This one looks exceptionally interesting.

...I think it was the only movie my dad and I went to together....it was chock-full of political themes, but at the time I had no clue-what the hell's 12 year year care about Russian crap?...and dad and I just enjoyed the pure weirdness....

Jennifer Aniston did a movie called Dream For an Insomniac. It wasn't deep or anything, I just always really liked it. Lots of Sinatra references.
And speaking of Sinatra references...Return To Me, with Minnie Driver. Only thing I liked David Duchovney in.

Return to Me is one of my very favorite movies!

How about Summer School, with Mark Harmon and Kirstie Allen? Stupid silly movie that I smile all the way through.
And for the REALLY dumb 80s movies, did anyone else see something called Scavenger Hunt? Face from the A Team was in it, and Scatman Crothers had a funny part. I rented that a billion times at the age of 13 or so, and can't even say why. But I'd love to see it again.

Edit: actually released in '79. Oops. But I watched it in the 80s!

Inception. Alot of people just don't get it. Even Stephen King said it was confusing but he liked it.

I loved that movie. You have to pay attention and sometimes a second look explains any confusion.
