This one is for the creative folken. What kinda music do yez scribble to?

Myself, when it comes to writing, I have to keep it instrumental. I can't have a buncha words coming in when I'm trying to push some out, see? So I'll listen to some jazz, maybe. Diz, Bird, Monk, and Miles. Or maybe some Wagner, if I'm goin old school. Or soundtracks. Movies like Coppola's Dracula, Millius's Conan, Miklos Rozsa's Ben Hur score...the Creepshow soundtrack. Weird junk like that can stimulate those deep down brain juices.

Anybody else like that?

Interesting topic.

Would your choice of music change the words that you write, subconsciously?

I wonder what SK listens to? I'm thinking Moderator Ms. Mod once said Heavy Metal would be blasting from his office. He probably didn't do his writing there, but who knows. ?
