You can do so all you like but as I said, the decision of the moderators is final and the memes you've created in this particular situation will stay where they are in Self-Promotion. They don't belong in the I'm Jealous area.

Not letting me post my own creations in Jelaous of the big Threads defeats the purpose however, it is a humor thread with no rule excluding original creation. I’m not particularly thrilled that there is suddenly a rule saying I can’t post my own creations there and I’m especially not thrilled that a post was made here for me specifically without my consent and that I now can’t get it deleted otherwise. If I wanted a special thread for my memes I would’ve made it myself. There is no rule in I’m Jealous excluding original content and making one now just complicates things. Because this post regards me and that it was created without my personal consent I’d just like it to be deleted and forgotten about and just let me post things that fit within the context of JBTH4 regardless of whether I found them on the internet or they came from my own imagination. This whole situation over complicates when my posts would’ve done just fine on Jealous. I do not want a thread specifically for my memes so I wish it’d be deleted, and I don’t see what’s so far-fetched about that request.
The rule about not posting original content into the general threads is not a 'sudden' rule, it's always been this way. Prior to creating the Self Promotion area of the MB, people could not post any original writing to the board at all as it is potentially a road to litigation for Stephen and his lawyers had advised his staff (and his staff have advised his volunteer workers) to not allow that type of content into the general threads.
Now having said all of this, and ignoring the fact of further argument after several attempts at explanation from 3 different moderators... you are of course welcome to have the content in this thread deleted, but please be aware that you are not permitted to share it in any other threads outside of Self Promotion; this decision will not change and now that you are fully aware of this, doing so will be in direct violation of the message board rules and can therefore have an impact on your account.
But why impose this over something as trivial as internet memes? I’ve posted multiple original content to there before, some of it was even watermarked, some of them I explicitly said were original creations, no one raised a finger, so why now? Clearly this rule wasn’t taken seriously enough in the context of that thread because nothing flew under red flags earlier. I’m aware of rules regarding posting original writing but this isn’t original writing. By this same logic you would have to place all pictures taken by the poster shared on other threads here because they were originally created by that poster, or jokes made up by the poster. I see the point in imposing this over original writing and such, but memes and such are meant to be shared and obviously the fact that my original content wasn’t noticed beforehand is a clear indication that it didn’t effect anything negatively

I would say all the conversation about it, possibly has.
The very simple fact of the matter is.... this is the way it's going to be.
More to the point, why are YOU arguing about it so vociferously now? Are you afraid these won't be seen by enough people because you think the Self-Promotion area isn't one that many people read?
I will try one last time to explain that the posters you've shared are with the idea of putting forth a single idea, i.e. to keep kids from vaping and furthermore, you asked for feedback about them. They are not random pictures or memes which is what the I'm Jealous thread is for. For those reasons, these particular posts belong in the Self-Promotion area. I am not saying that all future memes you post will automatically be posted here, but these ones belong in this area.

Everyone have a smoke and calm down. I too am against vaping and continue to buy my tailor made rich Virginia tobacco (with added carcinogens for my pleasure). I am troubled by what I recently heard...that I will die one day. After much thought I've decided to choose quality of life over quantity of life ( but hope like hell for both ). Here's to our onward march towards a better world...?
