For a writer, sometimes accused of using too many words to get the point across, it's easy to see that won't be the case here.

Stephen doesn't use the FB account that's set up for him. That has to be photoshopped--particularly with that number of likes. There are also a number of sites out there that we constantly have to have FB look into because it's somebody impersonating him on a site they've set up.
Is that 19 trillion likes, 19. Whoever the impersonator, I'd like his response.
Can you imagine if he (or any writer) responded to every negative statement or review like a hip-hop star? ... Wait a minute... I'm imagining it...

Seriously, though, it would be so unprofessional (as well as time consuming-lol) to respond to everything. If you expect to be universally loved, writing isn't the thing to do
Having said that, a friend of mine got a lovely response to am email that she sent to David Nicholls. She had a very hard time with the ending, and I guess her email was so tormented that he had to reply with his reasoning.
She still didn't agree, but it was enlightening to read his thoughts. Nice guy.

My wife had a Twilight party a year or two back....I was ordered to leave the house and not return until it was over....I complied.....gladly. Twilight is a discussion best left alone in my house lest I end up on the couch...lol
