That's my boss and something I would not want to think about as it would be kind of difficult to sit across the desk from him after that.Have you ever thought that he might go get all kinds of funky when you go on vacation? You know... when the cats away and all.

It was 1988/9. He was on a different track in many areas of his life then. For possibly laying a few tracks down on tape while you’re away? My, either you have ridiculously high standards, or the songs are really bad.
Got it... Ixnay on the omarmay, eh?It was 1988/9. He was on a different track in many areas of his life then.

Hi Towerbent! Welcome to the boards.
dang! There go my dreams of hearing some groovy lost late night eighties jam session, starring my idol playin electric guitar,I've worked for him since 1988. I'm positive.
Sorry new here, I had no idea that you work with him. I have wanted to hear him play ever since I found out that he does. There isn't anything listed in his book credits that I've found, however about his music. I thought maybe we'd found some at last. I've been a fan since reading firestarter when I was seven years old. That would have been 1983. I can't even describe the impact that book had on me. It hit me the way "The Lord of the Flies" would a few years later. I recently decided to go back to writing, (when I'm not working-who needs sleep anyway?) which I gave up after high school to enter the workforce full time.(double overtime, usually) Mr. King's works, especially, "On Writing" which I read simply because I love his work, made me remember how much I used to love writing. If you could pass on my sincerest thanks to him for that book, I'd very grateful, and I'd even take back all the nasty things I've said about technology (even if it keeps spanking me).I've worked for him since 1988. I'm positive.

You might be able to track down an old VHS tape (remember those?) of Steve playing guitar with The Rock Bottom Remainders on the secondary market (or it might be up on YouTube- isn't everything nowadays?).Sorry new here, I had no idea that you work with him. Al Kooper wrote most of Baby Can U Dig Your Man at Steve's request. He took what Steve had written in the book and added the rest.Perhaps ‘Lucky Lady’ was an early rendition of ‘Baby Can U Dig Your Man.’ Did Stephen write that one in the office?
Yes, he was on "rails" then, according to him in "On Writing".It was 1988/9. He was on a different track in many areas of his life then.
