I'm glad to hear you say this. I've been considering Sling TV for a while. I'll need an HD antenna to pick up Tar Heel basketball, and was concerned that it might not work. Ditching cable will save me about $80 a month.
Yeah that’s somewhere in the neighborhood of what it saves me every month also. I’m not as happy with the HD antennas sometimes you get some pixelation on the screen but not a deal breaker. After football season I pretty much watch streaming shows only and Sling picks up any basketball I want to see or sportscenter. Did you see my Razorbacks? They cracked the top 25 in the polls....here we come!

Hey Spideyman I know you've already gotten some good information from the other members here, but I thought I'd post a couple of links which may give you some pointers. The first one in particular is good at giving a simple explanation of some of the terms you may come across when buying a new TV. Hope it helps.

Additionally: Don't waste money on curved screens. Also, don't feel pressured to buy a 4K resolution TV, cause it's the "newest" out and the salesperson obviously will prefer you pay for that. You should also consider a 40" rather than 32." The price difference isn't much and you get more viewing area with a 40".

Do you have to have a Roku TV to use Sling? I want something that I can watch sports on as well and that is tempting but I have a decent TV right now.

Yes, pong was the first video game (I'm aware of) and shortly after Pong, there was Space invaders and Asteroids. It was pretty much all pinball machines before pong (and air hockey and foosball)
I played Space Invaders and Asteroids at the arcades, and I lasted a total of maybe 3 minutes. I NEVER got any further than 3 minutes.

Fubo TV has a bunch of sports channels and also "regular" channels. We use it on our 54" TV through Chrome Cast. First week is free, 2 months are $19.99 then goes up. We're still in our first month, trying to decide. If you like sports it's worth a look.
