Hi - My name is James. I have been reading King books since I was eight. My first book was Firestarter and I still feel like that is my favorite, though I did really enjoy The girl who loved Tom Gordon. I have just recently reread Carrie. On Page 117, when her mom was getting out the knife to wait for Carrie to come home to kill her, the chapter ends with the sentence, ""In her mouth she tasted olives." I feel like this has some kind of meaning but for the life of me I cannot figure out what I am missing. Can anyone explain the meaning behind this sentence?
