People ate at home 99% of the time. Women actually cooked meals. Junk food and going out to eat, killer on the mid-section.

People used to sit down and have meals as family. The kids were not going directions and the parents both did not work.

Sadly, I can not remember a time when there were full service stations. I know that my mother used to say fill er up to the attendant. I just do not remember the attendant.

We all sound like a bunch of old ladies sitting around talking about the good ole days:

I remember sitting down to supper every night - we always had to have dessert every night (my Dad had a sweet tooth) but I was a skinny little thing back then. I think we walked to school or took a street car (and I was only six or seven) Wow - it sounds like that book 11/22/63...
