Wow, that's pretty cool!

I've always wondered what the point was of "banning" books. It only serves to make them more desirable to many readers and in some cases more valuable to collectors.

Don't get me wrong, there are some heinous, vile books out there, but I don't think banning them is the answer.

I took a course called Banned Books & Dangerous Ideas. It was pretty interesting. Especially when you heard the reasons why some books were banned. For example, The Tales of Peter Rabbit was banned because it only depicted middle class rabbits.......
Well. Now I'm incensed! Free the people! down with rabbits! To-ga!
