I checked with Steve. This picture was actually taken last November but there's no bleeding. He said it must be a trick of the lighting that made the snow appear pink.

So.... here (NZ) there are tennis balls made especially for dogs, and they often have two colours. Some are blue and pink, others are blue and yellow, or even (wait for it) green and pink! Maybe... this is a green and pink tennis ball and the pink part is just covered in snow?

Marsha? Can you call Stephen back and tell him that Dana Jean still isn't satisfied with that answer and wants to know if this is indeed a dog-specific tennis ball that has two separate colours?
