How many like popcorn? Do you use, microwave and kernel popcorn? i like to use the kernels and pop them in a kettle on the stove. Not much for the air popcorn poppers. love me some seasoning popcorn salt and some butter. Then I am good for any movie.

My son has an air popcorn popper and he likes it just because it is a scooby -doo one. not so sure that has anything to do with the popcorn. We usually have the microwave popcorn, Orville's...two and a half minutes is about right and yeah, some seasonings...no butter. Microwave popcorn has that option doesn't it, low-salt...butter-something? Been years since I made popcorn in the frying pan...small bit of oil, corn kernels, cover...and then I'd move the pan around like I'm scraping paint. Almost feel like doing some up now, reading this thread. I remember having one of those...air-poppers? Hot plate, really, big orange-colored plastic dome, place on tops where you could put butter, perforations in that part so the butter could melt and drip down. That was okay, too.
Just add those buttery deliciousness to thighs.
Ours looks pretty much like this, but older.
My kids love popcorn, but I'm not a big fan.
I know! - we got one of those smooth top electric ranges and it was not until after we got it home and read the instructions that it turned out we could not use my old reliable cast iron frying pan on itI used to make popcorn in a cast iron pot with healthy safflower oil... Then we got a smooth top electric range and I had to switch to a stainless steel pot and it's just not as good
Sorry - just realized I hijacked this thread - we now use the microwave popcorn but at one time we did have a hot air popper just like this. The babysitter almost caused a fire once by putting margarine in the chamber with the popcorn instead of in the little plastic cup on the top.Ours looks pretty much like this, but older.
