I just discovered why i might have had some problems with my sleeping sheet lately. I like sleeping sheets, sheet and blanket in one. But i'm not very handy with these things and last time i put the blanketthingy inside the sleeping sheet some i managed to put it the wrong way.... The long side of the blanket at the short side of the sheet.... I have wondered why the feet seem to have only sheet no blanket all the time but havent even imagined i could do such a blunder. Has gone on for some time too.... In spite of making up the bed i havent thought of looking inside the sleeping sheet. Now i have made a change. Feels a lot better. Perhaps i even sleep better. But how incredible stupid of me.....!!!!!!!!!

Not stupid. Male. (I've never heard of a sleeping sheet.)
It is a sheet on top and bottom but you put in a blanket inside it. I like it for i otherwise have a tendency to kick off sheet or blanket or in different directions.... here at least they stay together and it makes it easier (in all my maleness) to make the bed, a task i never found to be funny and often had to be persuaded to do.....

You creep under the cover and put your head on the pillow and you're set. When the cover or sleeping sheet needs to be washed you pull it off and puts on a new but keep on using the same blanket or covet or whatever. Comfy.....

We have a house at the beach that we let others use. They bring their sheets but use our comforters. Over half of them put the comforter back on the wrong way when they leave, so that the stripes are the wrong way, tag is on the side and lots hanging over the edges, but not the bottom. So no, I won't laugh at you. Hope you sleep peacefully with warm feet tonight!

Are you being serious? You don't have them in the States? Come on, surely!
Not saying we don't have them in US, just that I've never seen them. A quick Google shows them available from L.L. Bean, among others.
So they're not that common then. That's strange, I thought the sheets and blanket combo had gone the way of the dodo in most people's homes now. Interesting
