Duvet? What the heck is duvet? Sounds like a condiment. "Pardon me, do you have any duvet I might sprinkle on my poached salmon it seems a little bland........"
Could it be my terminology that is out?? A kind of duvet cover....
Use
You creep under the cover and put your head on the pillow and you're set. When the cover or sleeping sheet needs to be washed you pull it off and puts on a new but keep on using the same blanket or covet or whatever. Comfy.....

I know exactly what you mean. Used them in southern England and Channel Islands. Loved then! My new duvet,which was a gift,
is solid white so I bought 2 sheets in colours to match bedroom and sewed them together on 3 sides,put the duvet in it and at the bottom
of the sheets I made buttonholes and sewed buttons on to keep it together. When they need it I pull off my sheet invention
and wash it and the duvet is clean. Works great! It is much cheaper than a duvet over and more choice of sheet colours and
patterns too. I guess it is a spin off of your idea in Sweden.
