I recently finished reading "On Writing" and in the book Stephen gave a prompt to be finished about Dick and Jane. He then invited the reader to upload our ending to his prompt on this web site. Is there an appropriate place to do that? Thanks for your help.

Stephen is no longer accepting these and the site does not allow personal writings other than group Halloween stories.

Welcome to the board though. Stick around and get to know us.

Sorry, I couldn't post one when I joined either. Welcome to the board! It really is a wonderful place to spend some virtual time. :)

Wow, great minds think alike is the saying! Nicole, my first post was about "On Writing" just recently but the thread is in the "Newbies" as I thought it the most appropriate place to start... I just finished posting a question to other writers there... ;) OMG I've just clicked on the smiley and 500 faces came up below! Just getting the hang of this page... I'm NOT a fan of FB but I don't think I'll go into reasons why not :O_O:... this certainly has a much more fun feeling to it...!!

What's this group Halloween stories about?
It has been a SKMB tradition to do an annual Halloween Story. Toward the end of summer, a thread is posted for sign up to participate in the adventure. Think stone soup-- each writer adds onto the previous writers piece. There is a member who oversees the project. The installments are then posted daily with the end on Halloween Day.
