And he wouldn't get a blood transfusion.
I simply do not understand that faith.

That's ok, I will just stare at him, and act like I'm really interested. He won't talk dirty to ya and he won't buy ya a birthday present.

Get out! Seriously? Oh man! No, no, no! He put all sorts of filth in my mind. He's a Jehovah Witness now, he doesn't even cuss anymore....
We'd have to try and convert him back! I'll let him in if he makes it to my house and have a talk with him.Now him, I'd let in my house!

Back to what? We'd have to try and convert him back!...
Back to the dark side, of course.Back to what?
Go to youtube and look up Prince While My Guitar Gently Weeps. It's from (I believe) the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Tom Petty, George Harrison's son (watch his face as Prince plays guitar- Prince mentally leaves the stage and achieves nirvana) and a host of others. Prince's guitar playing on this track brings tears to my eyes- he is INCREDIBLE!!).I don't think of the aging process as "getting old". I prefer to think of it as "becoming vintage". Since vintage cars, guitars, wines, clothing, etc. increases in value as they age I feel it best describes what happens as we progress through this thing called life.
Anyway, here is an awesome cover of Purple Rain. Well it's awesome if you can get past the fact it's Richie Sambora. Unless of course you are a Bon Jovi fan (which I AM NOT). I find it awesome because Corey Glover from Living Colour does the vocals. One of the best vocalists in rock! Plus Orianthi plays on it. She is pretty hot Actually, extra hot because she wails on guitar!

I've not read this thread and I won't because my taste and comment of music here has not always gone over too well. But, I will say that I love this song and I had the honor of attending the Purple Rain concert that year and because of a DJ that I know well I was able to be in his Purple Circle. One of the best concerts I've ever attended. I love the song but my favorite is When Dove's Cry. I love the coos of the doves in that track. Brilliant. I love Prince.
Prince has never done what is expected of him. When Doves Cry is a great song. One thing that makes it unique is there is no bass line. Very odd for a pop song in general. Even stranger from a contemporary R&B artist.
