If you are struggling, try this for a pick up line:
"Does this smell like chloroform to you?"
....sorry, I have a weird sense of humor....
Back in my day we just handed out these...

I'm curious. How has dating a women changed since the old days? Back when I dated you needed to shell out at least $500 on dates and put in at least several weeks time before you could even think about getting to second base. :)
LOL. I hear ya. Mainly what got me was that back in 1995 it was all phone calls, friends of friends, parties, or some other person to person method of seeing someone you liked then trying to get up the nerve to ask that person out...there was no FB or any other kind of social media other than rudimentary email where I live at that time. I spent hours on the phone with my ex-wife when we first started going out because she lived about 45 minutes from where I did. It just kind of cracks me up, I remember being pissed about my phone bill back then a little bit because I was calling long distance so often...lol
Fast forward to 2017. My current fiancee and I hadn't spoken to each other or even seen each other since around 1992. With one friend request and a couple of hours of chatting, we were well on our way to our first date. It took me literally a couple of weeks back in 1995 to work up the nerve to call the woman who would eventually become my wife....lol The world has moved on I suppose.

...she's still my main girl, and we're ok-just stressed to the max with family issues...all three kids are back in the house WITH their significant others....
Oh my God. Peace be with you both! That's why I'm going RVing when the last one leaves. Good luck to my kids being able to find me. Raising them has nearly killed me. I'm done.

I know it's difficult when you are posting something on the internet to control the tone..., but I wish we could have more discussions on volatile issues that look like problem solving from different angles rather than defending a given position.

SKMB has the nicest, most rationale members on the entire internet, but even here it's not always easy to keep cool. Not saying I have my act together, just a random wish.

I would like to say that said wish is granted. If you look at the hot topics forum, Jordan has a wonderful post on general guidelines for posting on controversial issues. This message board is full of rationale, intelligent people, who do try to problem solve. (Much more than what you will find on FB or Twitter)

$500 in what currency...gold doubloons? :0: But honestly, if you want a realistic look at....lets say 75% of how dating goes today....watch a day of MTV or VH1! Then you will also understand the divorce rate! Actually.....just watch....90-day fiance!

Solutions are definitely what we need.
