Usually at the top of the screen frame, dead center. You should also keep yer smart phones in the microwave when not in use, that way no one can spy on ya. I got these tips from Spock, of all people. Well, Zachary Quinto in an interview.

Dunno. I'll have to consult the Scrolls of Skelos--written in blood, when wicked Acheron ruled the realm. But to gaze upon such a parchment would surely drive a mortal mad! We'll need a wizard for such work, not to mention a perilous quest just to find the dreaded scrolls. Some men say there be a copy deep in the heart of thrice-cursed Stygia, beneath the temple of Set! Crom, but my short hairs bristle at such a prospect.

(actually I do have something taped over my laptop camera too... I don't know if it really is a problem or not, but it is kind of creepy after hearing about things being downloaded onto machines to be used as a window in)
