Karen got some good news at her job yesterday. She got promoted to supervisor! More hours, more pay.
I just got back from my ob-gyn. She wants me to go get a cat scan done. So that will happen within the next 2 weeks.
My kidney doctor is driving me nuts. She ordered me up 2 pills to take to bring my potassium down, and my drugstore said it wasn't covered by my insurance. So the drugstore sent a fax to the doctor telling them this. That was 2 days ago.
So the doctor's office calls me this morning wondering what happened. I told them, and they said they never got the fax.
I was going to get this straightened out when I got back home this morning. Well the doctor's office called me when we walked in the door. I have to go to another drug store to get these 2 pills. Seems my drugstore doesn't sell the med that way.
So Karen is on her way to pick that up. Tomorrow morning I have to go get the blood tests done at a walk in clinic, because the lab I normally use is closed.
What a pain in the butt all this is.
Karen is running on very little sleep, and I feel like I am imposing on her today.
Hopefully she can get some rest when she gets back home.

I started the Audiobook a few Weeks ago....i always fall asleep, after a few Minutes.
I hear the Words, i have read before....but their is no Excitement....
Reading always chains mo to a Character,i even Imagine a Voice or a Look.

And the saga of the 2 pills continue..
While Karen was in line at the drugstore yesterday, I got a call from them that something was wrong with my insurance. So I call Karen, and she told me to calm down that she will find out what is going on.
Well, on her way home, she calls me. The drugstore did not have the exact pill that the doctor ordered, and they wanted to do a substitute, so they call the doctor's office, and of course they are closed for lunch.
Karen just came home.
Next thing I know the doctor's office calls, and asks if I got the pills. I tell them what happened. So they call the drugstore, and get that all straightened out. Then the drugstore calls, and lets me know the med is ready. I was not going to wake Karen up to go get them.
Doctor's office calls again. I tell them I will get the pills today, and get the blood test done first thing Monday morning. They say they won't have the results until after my appointment. I had had enough by this time.
I told them they were going to have to deal with it, and I was about fed up with the whole thing, and hung up.
No more calls back and forth after that.
I told Karen when she got up that I was almost tempted to not do any of it, and just not go to the doctor any more.
She told me that I have to do this.
By that time I had a booming headache, and that is because my blood pressure went up, and I had been awake since 4 am.
So this morning Karen is going to go get those 2 damned pills, and I will take them tomorrow for the blood test on Monday. My potassium level is probably down by now anyway.
