head over to goodreads.com. heh! there's some reviews there...i looked at "awaken"...and sounds like the reviewers, ummm, believe? this is the real mccoy, or what? some bog-trotting irishman? is that wrong? probably. in all manner of ways. and means. could have some fun with this. tired of all this election malarkey.
i stole that from....shhhh! (our host)...don't recall the story, but he used the phrase somewhere. don't tell anyone! don't wanna get in trouble.
goodreads.com is owned by amazon, i believe. been a member there since...2010 i think...and i recall some hullabaloo when the original owners/creators of the site did whatever with amazon. though they apparently retain their jobs? the few reviews i looked at for that "awaken" had several that indicated the reviewers thought the real stephen king is the author, had other reviews that indicated otherwise. i'd read one of the stories just to see what gives, if anything, but for the most the reviews are such that unless the story is free i wouldn't want to spend time on one.
business for me, wanted to start a webpage seven eight years ago, 'cause i wanted to give a certain window company a run for their money. i learned i could not use my real name, that this major window manufacturer had registered a gadzillion names and even though one vowel in our name is different, made no difference, they had registered that variation, too. that is why i am a super-hero...but just local, not national or anything. i do have a website but it's no great shakes...just enough info to give potential customers some information. (related to what dio posted)
don't know if goodreads provides a head-s-up about "this stephen king is not thee stephen king". they do, do that, for others as apparently there are more than a few writers who share the same name. i think it's crazy that some of those who have read steppenking think they've read the real thing. but then...no! don't say it, walt!
