I was thinking more of the blowback from fans and those who go to FB to just "file their complaints" rather than the press. They're the ones who are more work just in terms of sheer numbers.

I've done that a few times on Twitter, with people who want to pick at some stupid thing. The especially vile ones get deleted. If I start getting a lot of calls or emails from the press in response to a comment he's made, I ask Steve if he'll give me a canned response I can send to them. I've got the copy/paste/send procedure down pat. Then Facetime perhaps?

I think we both got caught up with that one but to be honest, I'd completely forgotten about it until you mentioned it. After this long on the job, I know that each time those incidents come up it will mean a week or less of dealing with the headaches and then people move on to the next outrage so suck it up and remind myself this, too, shall pass.
