The link also contains a video of her whilst she was posing for the cameras...her face is definitely different.
Shame really, I always thought she was cute/distinguished and liked that she wasn't plastic looking like many actresses.

Shows how well I was paying attention! I just noticed the one photo. Thanks for pointing that out!

It could, maybe, possibly, potentially...be her body-type. She might be a mesomorph. I am one o' dem.

Mesos can gain and lose both healthy and unhealthy mass very fast, depending on diet and exercise. I've been fat, I've been muscle-man, I've been both at the same time (talk about napping!), and I've been very skinny.

I might've jumped to conclusions in my above post. In my semi-recent adult life, I've been 180 and pudgy as well as 225 and ripped. (Nothing illegal, but probably some things questionable).

But she probably had some Nip/Tuck done. I don't pay that much attention.

She seems to lose/gain weight quite easily depending on what role she is currently playing. I think she is naturally quite slim though.

I don't know about her body, but she's definitely had something nipped/tucked/pulled /filled on her face...and it's not a good look!

Had to look again. Robin Wright isn't who I was thinking of, though. It's going to drive me nuts now! ;-D

Were you thinking of Cameron Diaz, by any chance? I don't know why, but that's who I thought of when I liked at the pictures!

I find this so sad :( I always thought Renee was pretty...

don't understand why do that to yourself? :/

 sad. so sad. Why??

Why do people do this? I could care less about Hollywood and all of that stuff.

But why? She came across as sweet and cute in her movies. And she was!

Now she looks like.. Robin Wright and Robin Williams had a child.

Say sorry, to the actress. I hope you find peace with your decision and can get over this.

I guess if you are not happy with your appearance and have the cash...Do what you like? I think of Kenny Rogers-Here was a man aging well and got the facial surgery. He looked so fake after that...
I agree with you, if it makes her happy, then great. On the other hand though more and more people are having plastic surgery, I even heard of plastic surgery giftcards for Christmas and birthdays (I'm not sure how I would take it if I was ever gifted one to be honest ) so what happens to those who decide not to tweak anything and just age gracefully? Will they be the odd ones in generations to come? And how would that make you feel to be showing your real age when the whole world goes around with plastic, smoothed out faces? I find it a bit scary, really.

Reminds me of that Twilight Zone episode: In the eye of the beholder...

This makes me realize that just because someone is beautiful doesn't mean they realize it. I probably wouldn't even put on make up if I looked like her pre-surgery. She was adorable - not perfection, but just pretty and real. So many celebs do this and they end up looking really bad: Mickey Rourke, Meg Ryan, Farrah Fawcett, Jennifer Grey, who else....

I'm thinking of getting butt lift.............
How will we be able to bear the awesomeness of your awesomeness then?

Looks a bit like Radha Mitchell (Pitch Black) now. Definitely doesn't look like herself. Shame.
Makes me wonder about these folks. I think maybe it's not their looks they're unhappy with, but themselves. Like, by looking different, it becomes an excuse to act different - a form of rebirth into someone entirely new.
Looking so different has got to mess with your head, though. Me, I'd be looking in the mirror and thinking 'Dafu-q is THAT?' before realizing it was me. Every time. Then, on some level, I'd have a 'But it's not me!' moment. Mental health/identity crisis ahoy.
