This book NEVER LETS UP!! Ask AchtungBabyView attachment 20310
A fellow librarian loaned me the paperback but I never got around to reading it. I'd love to read a good thriller right about now. I'll look for this and the second Matthew Corbett book on my next trip to 2nd and Charles.
It's a corker! Shame it doesn't get much attention.View attachment 20310

You may thank me after you've read it. It features two of the most well written female characters in fiction.Okay, then. Mine it is. Thank you!

You both seem to have a good track record. It's a corker! Shame it doesn't get much attention.
I really wish it would be made into a film. Can you imagine? And I don't mean some Lifetime movie-of-the-week either! Don't really much care for her but I think Jennifer Lawrence would be great as the Mom.It's a corker! Shame it doesn't get much attention.
Give it a chance!!You both seem to have a good track record.
I'll give it a try. It's not new to me, I just never gave it a chance.
It went out of my price range so fast! It kept going up as I was bidding, and very soon it was too rich for my blood I hope you do really well with this one, Dan!Hi All. I just listed a signed/numbered limited edition of They Thirst published in 1991 by Dark Harvest on Ebay. User name is kingbookfan in case you want to look at it.
Boy's Life, of the ones I've read.Okay, I'm seeing this guy's name everywhere all of a sudden. I give in. What should I read first?
Me, too! I appreciate your bidding on it! I really need some $ right now to start putting away for my trip to Paisley Park. After this batch of books I may put up some of my original Running Man paperbacks. We shall see.It went out of my price range so fast! It kept going up as I was bidding, and very soon it was too rich for my blood I hope you do really well with this one, Dan!
That would be great! So much of McCammon's output would be perfect for television or film...I really wish it would be made into a film. Can you imagine? And I don't mean some Lifetime movie-of-the-week either! Don't really much care for her but I think Jennifer Lawrence would be great as the Mom.
AS far as I know there's only been two adaptions from his short stories. That would be great! So much of McCammon's output would be perfect for television or film...
The book addiction is one that doesn't really hurt anyone. Unless the stacks of books fall over on a loved one....I have to stay away from here! Yesterday I ordered books on the recs of Kurben and Holly Gibney , and today I had to order more McCammon (I HAVE to know what Mine is like, and Queen of Bedlam HC was only $3.59, and then there was a copy of They Thirst for around the same... *sigh*. I will never get this book thing under control

Those are hard to find, my friend. Plus, they are the same size as the original trade paperbacks so it throws me off every time I look at my shelf and see this small hardcover next to the regular ones. It just looks so strange. The signed/limiteds that were published by River City (publisher of the hardback of Speaks The Nightbird) go for hundreds.I know what you mean!! I need a HC Bedlam...
In a good way, right? Also, skimom2... check out Mine... it terrified me.
Oh, yes!! I would reread it, but I have so many other McCammons to get to: The Five, The Wolf's Hour, Gone South, the Matthew Corbett series, the I Travel by Night trilogy, et cetera... So many!In a good way, right?
Meh, I'll skip it then. I'm fine with my trade paperback-- it's in perfect condition and it's siiiiiigned. Those are hard to find, my friend.
