I just got the new Rolling Stone delivered to my kindle and of course, the first thing I did was read the Stephen King Interview. It's a very interesting interview and his answer to the last question makes me very happy.

Thanks for the heads up-maybe I should call ahead so I don't waste a trip!i got mine at Books a million. No where else had it. B&N aren't expecting theirs until next week.
I'm not sure Ms Mod is going to be happy with the interviewer describing where their office is located.
Rolling Stone is a bi-monthly publication, so it will be out for a couple of weeks when it hits the street. I imagine that by Tuesday, it will be in the stores that carry it. Tuesday seems to be the new release day for most stores.
Does 'bimonthly' mean 'twice a month' or 'every two months'?Is bi monthly the correct word? It comes out twice a month. I looked up the definition and it was twice a month or once every two months. That's a wishy washy definition.
Someone teach me something.

Unfortunately it means both! In the publishing industry, though, it's used fairly consistently to mean 'every two months', so that a bimonthly magazine is generally one that's issued every two months. The same ambiguity affects biweekly and biyearly. If you want to be absolutely clear, it's best to use a phrase such as 'twice a week' or 'every two years'.

Spidey,
You know what is funny is that I have always used bi-weekly as once every two weeks and bi-monthly as twice a month without ever realizing I was using each of these words differently (or sort of opposite of each other).
KFF bought hers at a Books-A-Million but said noone else had it out yet.Okay, has this issue come out yet?
I got mine on Friday. Yes Friday was the date to hit news stands.Okay, has this issue come out yet?
