Secret Santa 2016

I know it's been mentioned before. I was waiting to see if Siggy was coming back, but it doesn't look like it at this point, and I'd hate to see this fun tradition fall by the wayside.... so, if no one objects, I'll volunteer to host it this year.

I was thinking folks could sign up to participate between now and Dec. 4, then I could pass out names and folks could shop for 2 weeks, then gifts can be given the week of 12/18-23. Moderator (Ms.Mod) - when do we anticipate the boards closing for the Christmas holiday?

What does everyone think? Wanna join in the fun??

do1you9love? -- you might want to consider that fact that the MB will be closed when MsMod takes vacation time to help with the grandbaby.
It is possible to do a Secret Santa via PM, but might take some extra work on your part.

Good point, but like l say, I'd hate to totally abandon the practice. We'll see if there's any (enough) interest to make it worthwhile.

Good question. We haven't been told yet what our holiday schedule is going to be this year especially since Christmas Eve/Christmas are on the weekend. The other complication is that if my daughter goes past her due date, the Board could conceivably be closed the week of 12/18 because I'll be on vacation. The OB's policy is not to induce unless she's 2 weeks past her due date.

I thought 2016 was a good year! Every year alive and kickin' is a good one.
