Hi!

We had Secret Santa on the little board (Three years straight!) and it was tons of fun.

I don't know if we can pull it off here but...would anyone be interested?

Let me know ASAP. It takes some time and coordination to get all together.

Hey, I know we are all very busy and if it doesn't fly, no problem.

Peace.

Hi.

Thank you!

Let's start with sign-up for Secret Santa. Cut off date to sign-up is December 7th.

I'll update the list and post to make sure it's correct and complete.

I will PM each Santa with the name of their recipient no later than December 11th.
(I'll pull names out of a hat (not really in a hat :) ) and PM each Santa and let you know who your giftee is. Secret Santa. No one will know who is their Santa.)

Santas can start posting their gifts on December 21st. through December 25th.

(So, Santas will have the name of their giftee on December 11 and have over a week to look for ideas, clues and images.)

Does that make sense?

Stuff:
You may already know what your giftee likes and would enjoy, and that's cool. If you don't know, no problem. Check out Profile Pages. A lot of the fun was posting on threads trying to get clues to what their person would like. *Talk* to other members and get ideas about your giftee.

All gifts are virtual gifts. They are images you gather and put together for your giftee. Gifts should be wrapped in Spoilers so they can *open* the gifts. Because these are virtual gifts, the cool and frosty thing is how thoughtful and creative Santas are and all Santas have been wonderfully thoughtful.

I'm sure we will all have fun. (We had a lot of people coming to the little board to check out the thread.)

Thank you, again.

Peace.

Sign me up please Sigs. :)
(Um... I might be missing something here :a11: but won't people know who their Santa is/was as soon as we 'post' our gifts? Or, does this not matter? Is it only secret while we are... shopping?)

I'll try to give examples.

One year a member had mentioned in a thread they had not been home to see their family in years. Their Secret Santa did the following:

Dear Susie Lou Who:

imgCheapAirlineTickets.jpg
First class plane tickets to your family home

some spending cash
visa-gift-card-2.jpg

Enjoy your accommodations

No need to cook,

it's all catered

Enjoy Christmas with your family. Love and peace to all.

Santa.

Another question (I'm sorry-- I'm not feeling particularly bright today. :a11: )

So, you don't name the intended? (might people get mixed up about who it is supposed to be for?)
Sorry sigs...
