Yesterday my Husband got off of work early. So we decided to head to the mall for a bit. Well, I have an awesome husband. Most husbands buy their wives flowers and chocolates, right? Well mine did way better! He bought me a brand new pocket knife, The Dark Tower comics, and Desperation and Pet Semetery paperbacks(so I can read them in the tub).

To get to the point! What awesome things does your spouse get you, that isn't normal flowers or chocolates?

Awesome!!! :O I got my husband the PS4 for our anniversary. More like it is a gift to both of us. LOL I play just as many, if not more, games then he does.

Surrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.....It "died"! I have my PS3 still cause I play tons of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and a lot of Skyrim!

Walking Dead and Dark Tower comics, a HUGE coffee mug, cooling racks (I bake when I'm scheming up a new book), and a pen for book signings. This year, I've asked for my tub back (has needed a new surround for a while).

Hubs bought me a book about King. He always tries to get me the new King book, or Bill Bryson when it comes out. The best thing he got me was free. When we were "dating" I think you young'uns call it, he used to leave me flowers he'd picked from the hedgerows in my always unlocked car. I never locked it, and there were often flowers in it for me.

For no reason, just last week he came home with a really gorgeous sassy black dress for me. I'm frugal to the point of ridiculous, so I never buy clothes. And he clearly wanted to see me in something fancy and gorgeous. He buys me shoes - always very stylish. So yesterday a package came in the mail that he stashed away. It felt like maybe some new shoes to go with the new dress. I'm thinking we'll be having a night on the town soon. So, for me, him buying me those things is more than just the thrill of getting something new - it's that my husband still sees me that way, after 23 years and 3 kids.

What I really need are some ideas for what to give my husband. I'm a horrible gift buyer. The year he gave me an engagement ring for Christmas (we were way too poor for diamonds 23 years ago), I gave him a magazine rack for his sports magazines and a hose to go on the bathtub faucet to make bathing the dogs easier. Great, huh? I will never live that one down.
