I don't know about rising - nothing to rise and no reason to rise again - but freeze? You betcha. It's going down to 8º here in Nashville tonight. Tomorrow evening won't be any better - 20º - so even though you may be laughing your collective butt up there, it's scary for this part of the world at this time of year. The seasons won't be able to sustain important things like bees, crops, and important (medicinal) plants if they're off by even a week.

Just got off the phone with my new agent. I'm getting a 'reality show' which is just going to be me at work, me making dinner, me cleaning out the litter box, me warming up a can of cat food under the tap at the kitchen sink (for the cats, but if ratings start to fall maybe I'll open one up for myself and try it. 'Is it chicken or tuna?' Remember that from Jessica Simpson?), me here at the keyboard on the SKMB, me watching Two Broke Girls, me, me, me, etc. My agent wants me to write to write three books and have someone do my biography. Man, being a celebrity just doesn't leave much time for myself.....Rumor has it The Bruins will now be able to play outdoors on The Boston Common for the rest of the season....

Northern CA is quite different-- I live in Sacramento. Not that we don't have traffic jams and expensive real estate but it just seems like attitudes, home prices, and traffic gridlock are definitely improved here.
