I take it these are up-scale homes? Impressive. If you took the photos, too...you do okay there, as well...no thumbs in the way, blackened thumb-nail or not. I've been trying to focus exclusively on window and door installations...for the last...six seven years? What kind of glass do the windows in the pics have? Is there hardware mounted to open them? I don't see a "crank" in the wood-grain window several pics up...possibly a locking handle there? In the U.S. there has been mounting efforts for windows (and other products, as well) to have better energy efficiency. Does anyone have krypton gas...I assume there must be double and triple glazing? The walls of the...house? houses?...look fairly "thick", as well. I best stop...have too many questions. Curious, is all. Nice work. Unfortunately, the area where I live is so economically depressed that the odds of being able to work on a job like you have there is minimal...they do exist...but usually they are a part of a larger package...complete house=kitchens and baths like that, a part of the whole.

I gave up general joinery work ages ago. I do the odd bit now and again. I used to make hardwood windows back in the day, used to live making staircases from scratch, especially kute winders. Most people have upvc windows nowadays. Was talking about the krypton glass on Friday, how they're more heat preserving than the walls themselves. Most houses are brick on the outside and breeze block on the inner skin. Not much call for triple glazing, we don't get as severe winters as you do over there.

In a gentlemen's kitten outfitters, of course.

I cut and paste "kittens", because as I said I can't spell it. Cut and paste the word "kittens" , not actual kittens. Or do I?
