Me neither, and, God help me, I've never seen the attraction of Elvis either.Overall, not a fan of "The Boss" Bruce Springsteen
Then you really would hate his album "Astral Weeks" in which Van Morrison sings very long, repetive ballads and sounds like a squalling cat. I have to endure it regularly because it's one of my husband's favorite albums and it about drives me crazy. Having said that, though, I love Van Morrison's stuff today. His voice has mellowed and is warm and rich. His songs have a strong jazz flavor to them.Van Morrison - Brown Eyed Girl aaaaaaaagggggghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
Billy Joel. The only song I like of his is "We Didn't Start the Fire"-- the rest seem so torturously long to me.
I love them.Fleetwood Mac.
Especially Stevie Nicks who gets on my last nerve...
Bob Dylan
I've tried but just cannot get down with The Rolling Stones. They do not start me up.
I also don't understand The Grateful Dead.
Also(and I may get ostracized for this) The Beatles.
I love them.
Yes! THANK YOU. I never understood the appeal. Maybe you had to be a bra burning 60's hippie to get into him. I wasn't born yet. lolBob Dylan
So I've been told--numerous times. It feels a little like "coming out" to admit it.Sacrilege!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hence your thread title. lol.Well, like I said, most people do. I hear a song by them.... channel is off immediately!

I should say it's not that I don't like his music and lyrics--I'd just rather hear someone else singing them.Yes! THANK YOU. I never understood the appeal. Maybe you had to be a bra burning 60's hippie to get into him. I wasn't born yet. lol
