That's the only Petty I like, and I love it.True, and it's not like he's unattractive (well he is to me!) - it's a "taste" thing - and I just don't like his music and that's the main thing...

The Rolling Stones - As Tears go By - Emotional Rescue
The Clash - Know Your Rights (a huge disappointment because this could have been a really great song - the clunky lyrics and phrasing sink this one)
Paul McCartney - Silly Love Songs (vomit inducing and I lived through when it was a number one song with weeks of heavy airplay

Ms. Swift is pretty much a pop-tart, not that far removed from Britney Spears. A bit more talented perhaps as she can actually play an instrument and write her own material (or so we are led to believe).

Little research reveals Lennon's opinions and thoughts on most Beatles songs were inconsistent-- heck, downright untrustworthy. He'd say one thing in one video interview and something completely different in another one. I get people's opinions change but he would tell different stories regarding song authorship and whatnot, too. He either had a horrible memory or twisted the truth at times.
