Oh, Geeze.......
Not unlike Cabot Cove, ME. But then thats why we watch. The depiction of Southern/Western life in television is about as accurate as the depiction of small-town English pubs in An American Werewolf in London.
I got to say, though, that if you catch episodes of Longmire, it's not terribly far off from Wyoming Western/cowboy culture, with the exception of the absurdly high homicide rate.

I'm actually listening to I Sang Dixie....
Unfortunately, you've missed the grits by about 2 hours......and they were mmm, mmm, goooood!
Oh hell, no!....I'm Southern, not crazy!!!Figures..........what's for lunch? Collard greens and okra?

Collards for sure, but with salt and butter and antihypertensives. Okra, yes as long as it's not slimy.Figures..........what's for lunch? Collard greens and okra?

No, I didn't say that, dammit! And no, I can't cut down on the salt, not with certain things.Well, you could cut down on the salt.
Collards are good for helping your blood pressure though, blunt? I didn't know that.

I was born and raised in Alabama. It's terrible. Every stereotype you've ever heard about the state is true.
Stay away.
Collards are delicious. I like all cooked greens.Well, what ARE they good for then?
I didn't know that. Cool.Collards are a good source of Vitamins A and C. Their real health benefit though is they are considered the best reducer of cholesterol of all the commonly consumed cruciferous vegetables.
