I need to know about one story; Dedication.
Its the one about the maids, in the 50-60s.
they work in a fancy hotel and the one lady gets pregnant and then sees
a 'brewHa" (voodoo) woman and is told the 'natural Father' is a famous writter guy.
One of her regulars at the Hotel.
the writter guy is a big time jerk. He is KKK'ish. He and his friends
have a party the day J.F.K is murdered.
In the 'notes' section I believe Stephen King makes it clear that
this KKK-Gentleman...is based on a real dude. A real writter.
It seems like the writter (IRL) was a hero of Kings ...untill he
found out what the guy was REALLY like.
King says words to the effect that he will not 'name' the guy... "at this time"
meaning that King would name the guy some other time.(I think)
I must know ...who this writter is >? ?,(was). I must.
Ive tried google and wiki...got nowhere
