It's fun to stand under a street light and throw rocks up in the air and then watch the bats dive for them
I am selling a house over here which has bats that come and roost in the loft, in the Summer, give birth then fly away again. You are not allowed to exterminate them here as they are protected. They come, leave, then the bat protection league come and clean the loft up afterwards, free of charge. It's thought of as rather "charming" by the people that are buying it.....
Neesy posted this in the Weather thread, but I actually think it fits better here. If you run across this vermin, Sunny, hit it on the back of the head with a shovel. Or a glue trap to the face....
You can count on it!!!Neesy posted this in the Weather thread, but I actually think it fits better here. If you run across this vermin, Sunny, hit it on the back of the head with a shovel. Or a glue trap to the face....
You don't get out much dear. Lmao. Just kidding. It's fun to stand under a street light and throw rocks up in the air and then watch the bats dive for them - give it a try - that way you know which direction to jump when they dive. I've learned to live with critters around here - we've got bats, spiders, snakes, turtles, raccoons, we live almost in the woods.
We have bats living on our block, they come out just as the sun its setting and we throw our hats up in the air and watch them dive for them too, I think they're pretty neat and so do my kids! We also have raccoons, and our neighbor had a fox living in the lot behind them last summer...which I hope comes back this spring! We live smack in the middle of town. It's fun to stand under a street light and throw rocks up in the air and then watch the bats dive for them - give it a try - that way you know which direction to jump when they dive.
