Ya’ll can buy beer in a grocery store?

In this state you have to go to a state licensed beer distributor to purchase beer, and to purchase wine and spirits you have to go to a state owned and run liquor store. The beer distributor in my town (licenses are granted to a business and it controls a geographical area) closes at 6 pm every day except on Friday when they close at 8 pm. And just recently they found it in their heart to open on Sunday to 3 pm. In recent years some select convenience stores have been licensed by the state to sell 2 six-packs at a time, but do you really want to pay over $10 for a six-pack?

Yep. And some of our grocery stores stay open 24 hours. And, our ABC stores are now open on Sundays!

Sunny is on top of it.......screw off lids so when I'm tipsy and lose the opener we'll be all set....

I don't drink beer, so I never thought about that. I do have a corkscrew, and have become really good at operating that without any incidents.....

....we can buy wine, beer and other low-power alcoholic beverages at the grocery and convenience stores around here....actual liquor is purchased at a "State Store"....a local business licensed by the State to sell spirituous libations...
